Lauren & Chris Wed at Die Woud

die woud

Die Woud in Caledon has to be one of my favourite wedding venues in the Western Cape. Set in a forest with a gorgeous glass marquee structure, it truly is an exquisite setting for a wedding.

Chris and Lauren share the most incredible love and connection and it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside them, planning their wedding. They chose Die Woud for its exquisite natural surroundings. On top of this, an important thing for them during the planning process was good food, wine and a great party to celebrate their special day with their nearest and dearest.

They chose an organic palette of mostly neutral colours with pops of green which worked perfectly with the venue’s surroundings and wanted a modern and contemporary look and feel for their flowers and decor which Pippa from Wildeflower did  an amazing job at creating.

Lauren was like a vision in her custom Alana Van Heerden Bridal gown and Chris looked so handsome in his custom suit.

Guests got to enjoy a live pizza station at the pre-reception, as well as two different bars, a craft beer bar for the groom and a bubbly bar for the bride. They also provided interactive lawn games which were a huge hit with the guests!

Die Woud is known for their farm to table menu and guests enjoyed a family-style dinner before kicking off the party. Once Chris and Lauren opened the dance floor, everyone partied until the early hours of the morning.

Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Williams, for choosing Boutique Styling. I loved every second of our journey together.
